What
You Should Know..
Buyer
beware!
LED
light therapy is becoming a popular modality for temporarily
relieving
pain associated with minor muscle and joint pain, and
arthritis. As a result, there has been an increase in the number
of companies that are offering products which characterize themselves
as light therapy devices. We felt it was important to let you
know that there are many imitations out
there.

As with any product on the market today,
there will be several manufacturers of the same type of product.
However, some manufacturers do a better job than others through quality
controls, better practices, and believing in the products they manufacture.
|
Unfortunately,
how well a product is marketed is often times NOT a direct reflection
of
how
well that product was manufactured. As consumers, we are often
times confused because what we see and hear in the marketing of
a product influences our buying decisions.
The other devices on
the market (as seen in the picture above) may have better jingles,
fancier infomercials, and star-studded endorsements of their products,
but it doesn't mean they all do what they say they do, or as effectively.
For example, Quantum Devices, Inc. was approved by the FDA
in 2003.
However,
because they wanted to be sure their product did what they say
it does do, they did not go out and aggressively market their WARP
10®. Instead, they took the time to dig a little deeper. As
you can see from the various clinical
trials and studies, QDI's
HEALS® Technology and their LED arrays are being used for a
lot of things. Not to mention, what it has done for NASA and it's
abilities
in
space.
Our advice to you the consumer is to do your homework! Our site
is filled with a plethora of information
about light therapy and what our product can and can't do. Our
goal is to educate, and inform.. not mislead.
Do the
research about the device before being influenced by fancy logos
and star-studded
endorsements. Marketing can be misleading.
Take in to consideration the FDA
warnings about other devices on
market. They were warned for a reason.
Any LED device that says, in their statements of how it works,
that it does any type of "heating", you should be cautious. If it heats,
it can also burn.
Phototherapy is a relatively misunderstood not only by the consumers,
but the manufacturers who create and sell them. As a result, it
is not uncommon for manufactures to withhold the specifics of their
device such as
power,
classification,
wavelength, frequency, and diode construction. Bottom line, not
all phototherapy devices are created equal and not all light is
therapeutic. |

NASA
We,
and Quantum Devices, Inc., think it's about time that we set
the record straight.
Quantum Devices, Inc. is the company that
invented
the
high-intensity,
solid-state
lighting
systems
for NASA,
that
have
become the gold
standards for photobiomodulation research , photodynamic cancer
therapy and agriculture research.
Unfortunately, many other light therapy devices continually reference
the NASA success stories and research in their web sites and literature.
The ironic thing is that if you read the articles that they are
linking to
from NASA, most often there is some mention of "LED arrays
provided by Quantum Devices, Inc., or "special thanks to Quantum
Devices, Inc. for supplying the LEDs", or "research by
Dr. Harry Whelan" (who
uses the QDI LED arrays in his research).
However, because many people may not be familiar with the topic,
or with Quantum Devices, Inc., it most likely gets overlooked by
a consumer researching a particular LED device. As a result, assumptions
are made that "their" LEDs are equal to that of QDI.
So.. to set the record straight, QDI's LED arrays are like no
other LEDs on the market, and are the only ones used by NASA. If
you have any questions, please refer to the links entitled resources,
clinical trials/studies, or any of the press
releases.
For
just pennies per dose...
That's really
what it comes down to. Pennies per dose. If you calculated all
the money spent on NSAIDs and prescription drugs over the course of a year, and
figured out how much money was spent per dose, it would probably be pretty significant.
Studies indicate that 48% of Americans suffer from some type of arthritic condition.
Think of all the millions and billions of dollars that are spent to provide some
relief
from minor muscle and joint pain, and arthritis. What's even more interesting
to think about, is what repeated use of NSAIDs and prescription drugs could be
doing the bodies of all these people. You have alternatives...
Our Testimonials
The testimonials you may have seen on
our infomercial or on our web site, are actual testimonials from real people,
with real pain, who have had
good results
from using WARP 10®. No individual was paid for their testimonial or is affiliated
in any way with Warp Light Therapy, LLC. And our goal, is to continue to share
with you the positive results people just like you are receiving from consistent
use of the WARP 10®.
This
May Be A First...
What we are about to tell you, you may never have heard or read in any type of
product literature or marketing materials. It's almost absurd that we are saying
it..
but here
goes. If you are not willing or able to use the WARP 10® on a consistent
basis, you will most likely not receive the true benefits of this device. This
is not snake oil nor a magic wand. It's not a one-hit wonder. It is a device
that,
with
consistent daily use, can be an effective modality in the treatment of chronic
pain and
arthritis. If you are under the impression that one or two doses will temporarily
relieve some pain in your... (fill in the blank with what area you are experiencing
pain), you most likely will be disappointed. Just as a person may drink a cup
of coffee or go for a walk every morning, a routine of daily
use
is
what
is
required
with the WARP 10® in order for you to see the best results. And of course,
individual
results may vary.
